Hook line and sinker!

Posted by Lena Nunn at 12:43 PM 1 comments
I made this card for the challenge on sprINKles today which is to make a card for your loved one . Everyone who knows my fiance and I , know that we are BIG into fishing so this stamp was pefect for that. Unfortunatly I didnt have a sentiment to go along so I hand wrote my own ( which is why this card is not that pretty!) He loved it though

I made another box with a drawer for my friend. These are great for card sets or just embellishments and envelopes. The top holds about 10 cards (or 5 if they have tons of embellishments) and the bottom holds about 10 envolopes.

Ok I got a joke for you ( if you do not like PG-13 jokes please exit now). How can you tell the difference between a boy snowman and a girl snowman? SNOWBALLS!!
Sorry but everytime I see this stamp it reminds me of that joke!
Its time to get started on the christmas cards so I wanted to use this stamp for at least one. I colored them in with watercolor pencils (was there any dought?). I also used liquid applique for the fluff on the middle ones hat and heated it with my heat gun to make it puff. Hope you like !

So in dog years you would be....?

Blast From The Past!

Posted by Lena Nunn at 12:15 PM 2 comments
I recently was reading some blogs I follow and got an idea from one of my favorites. Jan Tink posted some of her cards from the beginning of her stamping years on her blog (warning!! if you go over there you will be laughing as she is the funniest , most creative lady ever!!). This inspired me to do the same since Im often told " I cant do that like you, im not creative". This wasnt always the case as Im about you show you.....

This was my first card I ever made with my Stampin' Up! starter kit. Dont you just love the uneven edges and where is the ribbon and brads and all the other fun stuff???

See the crease in the bottom? I remember at the time I was really proud of this card!

Now that you have seen these wonderful blast from the past I must say the people who recieved these cards loved them just as much as the ones they get today . And actually I still think they are pretty darn cute !

For the dog sitter

Posted by Lena Nunn at 9:03 AM 2 comments

I made this box of cards (sorry for the blurryness I have not quite got the hang of using the blackberry camera) and holder for my dog sitter. She wanted to send a card to a dog trainer she knows so I made her a box of them so she will have them on hand. This lil holder is made from one piece of paper and sooo simple I love it !
