Rustic Baroque Card

Posted by Lena Nunn at 12:05 AM 3 comments

I know I have been slackin when it comes to making cards lately. I just have been so busy that I havn't had time to actually sit and do any stamping . Last night I finally took some time to make this card . It uses Baroque motifs (which to me is the MUST have set!!), Chocolate Chip , Not quite Navy , Kraft and close to cocoa. I love how it turned out! The theme for 365 is courage and strength so I think the sentiment on this card fits ( life happens , love helps)

Embossed Anniversary Card

Posted by Lena Nunn at 12:19 PM 2 comments

Did I get carries away with the embossing and textures here? I made this card for a customer whos daughters anniversary is coming up. I Ran whipser white card stock through the big shot inside a embossing folder. I then used my brayer to run purple ink over it to make the design POP more. Then I used a emobossing folder frame in the same way. Stamped the wedding couple in the middle, finished with a embossing folder medallion on bottom and VOILA!

Fathers day BBQ card

I could not wait to color this darling image (which I found online) . I printed him out on watercolor paper and colored him in using watercolor pencils and an aqua pen. I then used a scallop square to cut him out . The sentiment is SU from the set Thoughts of Father. This card goes perfect with the 365 cards color challenge

Tara Bday Flowers

I made this card for a customer for her daughters birthday. The cardstock is the new Early Espresso! This color is so awsome (thats right I said awsome!). The flowers are stamped on textured shimmery cardstock using Pink Passion ( retiring soon so get it now) and the leaves in old olive. I colored the middle of the pale pink flowers with a chocolate chip stampin marker. Hope she loves it as much as I did.

Tuesday Tool Focus

Posted by Lena Nunn at 10:14 AM 1 comments
Hi Everyone! I used to do a tool tuesday focus on my blog and lately I've been slackin so I'm going to start again . And why not start with one of my favorite tools ....

The Brayer

The brayer is a rubber roller that you use to create skies, water, or any other thing you can think of. It is easy to use just by rolling across an ink pad and then onto paper and creates great affects.

here is a few cards I have done using the brayer!
