Morning Cup Rocks My Socks!

Posted by Lena Nunn at 8:48 AM 0 comments

I love the new set Morning Cup that goes along with the new wheel Take A Sip . I made this lil tea folder for my friend who is "Tea-rific" so it was fitting. I used Pacific Point DP to make this along with the new big scallop punch . The cups are colored in using In Color Stampin Write Markers.
I used the wheel inside using Pacific Point Ink.

I " Believe" I love this set

I got the new Just Believe set yesterday along with some In Color Markers. I loooovveee this set. Its so easy to make awsome ( thats right I use the word awsome) cards in a short amount of time. I also used my new Embossing folder for the background. Love this card and it took me about 3 minutes

This owl punch is a hoot!

I got some new SU stuff from the brown guy yesterday and I was so excited to use this owl punch! No you dont understand Im not an owl fan...I just dont understand the trend UNTIL NOW!!! When I saw all the cute things with owls on them this punch went right to the top of my list. Its so darling, and what a great way to use all my scraps!!
I made this card using Early Espresso Paper for the base and very vanilla for the mat ( that I ran through the big shot in my new embossing folder). The DP is Pacific Point and the big scallop is Cherry Cobler.

Using my new Dies for Challenge

Posted by Lena Nunn at 9:52 AM 1 comments

My friend Marie gave me some new dies last week so I couldn't wait to use them . I made this card for the In Style Stamps Challenge which was to use these colors for inspiration.

I aslo wanted to use my new stamp from ISS so here she is...

Isn't she cute? I used the die for the pink snowflake in the back. I LOVE it!! I used liquid applique for the fluff on her ski suit and paper pieced the rest of her suit using my paper scraps. Hope you like!

I made this card the other day and I can't decide if I like it or hate it....hmm I tried to make it looks like water plants by running strips of metallic green paper through the paper crimper but it just looks weird. The mermaid stamp is awsome though! My friend Emily sent me some of these ladies through a Wish RAK . Love ya Em!

Flower Wraps

Posted by Lena Nunn at 10:37 AM 0 comments
I needed a quick present for a friend ( cause heaven forbid im ever prepared for things) so I made this flower wrap using a piece of DP. You fold it like you would a diaper ( fold bottom corner up and then sides get crisscrossed over middle) and I tied with ribbon. Easy peasy!

Flutterby Wednesday

I want I want I need I need givme givme

Posted by Lena Nunn at 11:28 AM 2 comments
I hope everyone had a excellent weekend! I was busy getting all the things done I havn't had time for ( and no I don't mean stamping , sadly ). I mean yard work . Tony and I cut up wood and stacked it and moved things and cleaned things. Hey, dont be sad for me I did actually get a few things done such as this:

This is a set ( 6 total) cards using the Elements of style set. I did them in different colors and packaged them in a clear envelope with a bag topper. Cute huh? I'm hopeing some of my friends will see them and say " I want I want I need I need , givme givme" and Ill sell them. haha

This is also something I made using the Elements of style set ( I just got the set so of course I had to use it 50 times). This lil mini soaps catty uses the box #2 die and was two boxes back to back. I then filled it with some mini soaps from bath and body works.

Well I have to get back to work now :(

My first black magic!

Posted by Lena Nunn at 11:23 AM 0 comments
This picture was taken with the blackberry (which is why it is fuzzy and not very good) but this is my first black magic card! Yay!! In order to make one of these cards you stamp an image using white craft ink and then use heat tool to set. I then colored the flowers using watercolor pencils. It makes them POP off that page. Cool huh?

We had such a busy work day with hauling wood and stacking wood , building table and working down at butterfly farm. Now to watch the nascar race! I can't get my facebook on my bb to work so hopefully this will post on there too!
