Happy Birthday Jeanette

Posted by Lena Nunn at 4:16 PM 3 comments
My sister in laws birthday is tommorow so I sat down last night to make her a card. She likes anything western, horses and hedgehogs. I found this stamp at a local craft store and I knew it had to be mine ( to make cards for her of course) . I stamped this image (from Penny Black) on watercolor paper and colored with Stampin' Write Markers and a blender pen ( im so addicted!!). I hope she loves it !!

P.S . I got a card from my SCS secret sister yesterday! Doesn't it rock? She is sooooo stinkin talented. I love this paper . It was purple on one side and kraft on the other. Where does one find this paper? I must find some!!! Thank you big sis for the amazing card :)

Posted by Lena Nunn at 11:26 AM 2 comments

I havn't posted on here in a couple weeks and I was reading blogs today and saw my friend Emily had posted her Thinspiration Thursday post ( which reminded me to post mine) . Shes awsome you should go check out her blog! Ive been sick the last two weeks with the flu so I have not been doing much for my diet. I weighed this morning and I weighed 214 . I know thats great in diet world but its hard to be excited knowing the only reason I lost it was because ive been sick and have not been eating like I should ( chicken noodle soup has been my diet staple of choice for the past 15 days) . Anyways it is what it is and Ill try to actually excercise and eat right so it stays off!

Watercolored Sky winter scene

Posted by Lena Nunn at 8:48 AM 0 comments
I left my brayer over at my friend Emilys house ( gasp! ) so I had to try my hand at watercoloring a sky without it. This is the results. I used an aqua pen and a pacific point and not quite navy ink pad on watercolor paper. I love these stamps from Nature Silouettes and Lovely as a tree. Happy stamping!

I made this super simple card using the pine branch from Noble Deer ( retired) . The white line was drawn using a white gel pen. This whole card took me about two minutes and I LOOOOVEEE how it turned out. Simple, beautiful, fast!

Gimme a cookie!

I admit Im not really fond of fruitcake or gingerbread cookies but this image was so cute I had to make a card with it . The girl was colored in using Stampin' Write markers ( how did I live without them?!?) on watercolor paper.
