Lesson Learned

Posted by Lena Nunn at 11:00 PM
Happy Saturday friends! I hope you all get all weekend to stamp and do fun things like me :). I have dedicated this weekend to nothing but stamping , fishing and cleaning my house ( which I admit I actually like doing) . To kick off the weekend of stamping I made this card for the Speedy Fox and Friends challenge which was to use a different fold. I admit it, I usually don't get very risky with my cards. Simple rectangles, straight edges, not to crazy. I wanted to do something different but not to crazy ( haha heaven forbid I do something crazy adventures with my cards) so I decided to do a easel card. They are so simple and I always love the results. I wanted to use the new Lesson Learned set from Marks Finest Papers and stamps, a Heinrich Co. and make it for a friend of mine who is a teacher. Her name is Mrs. Hult so I wrote that on the blackboard using a white pen to make it look like chalk. Hopefully she likes it. The calender was one I found online and printed on white paper and then cut down to size. The books and apple were colored in using Prismacolor pencils and OMS ( oderless mineral spirits).  If you play along with us this week you could win an awesome stamp set!
