Growing In Unity Day 3 ~ Bible Journaling

Posted by Lena Nunn at 8:04 AM
Welcome to day three of my week of Growing In Unity! Today I worked on something that I am just getting into which is Bible Journaling.

I have seen ideas all over Pinterest and I wanted to give it a whirl. I used the Unity Set Devoted . Which is perfect for this. Did you know Unity makes more Bible Journaling sets?!? You can find them here
With Bibles the best way I have found to use stamps since the pages are so thin is to use versamark and rub over it with a light colored chalk. Then go over it with markers or pencils. I made the mistake of just using a regular ink pad on one page and it bled through to the next. I can't wait to get more into this and record my thoughts and ideas and scriptures that move me. Hope you enjoyed this project of mine and don't forget to comment as you could just win a grab bag of 25 stamps at the end of my week.

What a wonderful idea! This is a great idea for grandmas, to leave their special bibles designated to give to each grandchild. I have 4 grandchildren and will start embellishing 4 bibles right away. I use one to study in and it already has notes in the margins, but i can start illustrating with stamps and open the other 3 on the same verse page & quickly do all 4 at once each time I want to add an illustration. Thanks for the wonderful idea!

Love this stamp set. These kind of stamps are hard to come by. They would be great to use on a card to give with a prayer shawl.
